A man accused of crashing a vehicle into a Kailua convenience store and fleeing the scene early Thursday morning was arrested.
The crash happened just before 2 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on Kailua Road.
According to Honolulu police, the car struck the store’s wall and drove off.
Shortly after, police found the car nearby on Ulumalu Street.
Police located the driver, 18-year-old Tyler Burdett. He was arrested for driving under the influence and for damaging property then fleeing the scene.
Burdett was released after posting $500 bail.
Officials say no one was injured in the crash.
