Maui firefighters say a structure fire in Haiku also sparked a brush fire.
The first fire broke at about 11:30 a.m. Monday on Honokala Road.
Upon arrival, firefighters found an 800-square-foot quonset hut engulfed in flames.
The hut and the farming and shop equipment inside were destroyed along with two vehicles that were parked next to the structure.
Officials say damage estimates total $102,000, $15,000 for the structure and $85,000 for the contents.
Investigators say the fire started while someone was welding which created some sparks igniting cardboard boxes and causing the rest of the contents to burn.
Officials say the structure fire started a brush fire that burned about two acres between Waipio and Honokaa Roads.
Both fires were extinguished by about 2 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the structure fire is under investigation.
