HONOLULU – The University of Hawai’i and Wisconsin have agreed to a three-game football series beginning in 2015.
The Rainbow Warriors will travel to Madison, Wis., Sept. 26, 2015 for their second-ever visit to Camp Randall Stadium. The teams will play again on Sept. 4, 2021 in Honolulu and Sept. 17, 2022 in Madison.
Hawai’i and Wisconsin have met six previous times most recently in 2009, when the Badgers defeated the Warriors 51-10, spoiling UH’s opportunity for a fourth consecutive bowl bid. Wisconsin leads the series 5-1 with Hawai’i's only victory in 1986 at Aloha Stadium.
UH’s only trip to Madison occurred in 1987 with the Badgers winning 28-7. The teams also played in 1996 (UW, 59-10), 2000 (UW, 34-18), and 2005 (UW, 41-24), all at Aloha Stadium.
On its future schedules, Hawai’i will play notable non-conference games at Colorado (2014), Michigan (2016), Kansas (2016), UCLA (2017), Army (2018), Washington (2019), Arizona (2020), and Oregon State (2021).
