Honolulu Police are looking for Liane Hernandez.

“On May 10th, 2010, Hernandez went into Safeway located in Waimalu and attempted to cash an unemployment check. The clerk noticed the check had been altered and the difference was in the amount, and called her manager,” Honolulu Police Sergeant Kim Buffett said.

Police arrested Hernandez for forgery.

“On July 28th, 2010, Hernandez entered the Macy’s store at Windward Mall, removed items from the rack and left the store without paying. She was located outside by loss prevention officers, detained, and police were called,” Buffett said.

Hernandez was arrested for theft. She’s now wanted on two warrants totaling $31,000 in connection with those cases and for not complying with the terms of supervised release.

Liane Hernandez is 34-years-old, 5-foot 9-inches and 187 pounds.

“She has eight prior convictions, all for theft and forgery, and is known to frequent the Waianae area,” said Sgt. Buffett.
