Sheriff’s and police searching for furlough walkaway from the Women’s Community Correctional Center

Jennifer Garcia left Friday morning on a re-socialization pass to meet up with her support group and was scheduled to return to the Women’s Community Correctional Center by 9 p.m.

When Garcia failed to return at the scheduled time, Honolulu County Police and State Sheriffs were notified. If anyone sees her they are urged to call police.

Jennifer Garcia is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Jennifer was in a transitional program called Bridge. Bridge is a transitional halfway house located within WCCC.

She is considered community custody status, which means lower than minimum security.

She was serving time for promotion of a dangerous drug and robbery.
