The state Department of Transportation is continuing the H-1 rehabilitation project tonight at 9:00 p.m.
There will be a two-lane closure of H-1 Freeway heading eastbound between Middle Street and Ward Avenue.
All lanes will reopen at 4:00 a.m. Monday morning.
The DOT states that this area is the oldest and busiest traffic corridor on Oahu.
This federal aided project will remove and replace up to 12 inches of asphaltic concrete.
The project also includes restriping to add an extra lane in both directions between Punahou Street and Middle Street.
