Buffanblu still unanimous #1, Trojans take over second spot in #COVER2 : Power Poll

Vavae Malepeai - Mililani Runningback

For the third straight week, Punahou was unanimously voted as the top ranked team in the #COVER2: Power Poll.

The undefeated Buffanblu (6-0, 4-0 ILH) beat ‘Iolani this past Saturday 56-0 at Hamada Field, and this week will have a chance to secure the top-seed in the ILH postseason against #4 Saint Louis. The top seeding comes with a bye into the League Championghip Game, and would need to be beaten twice by the survivor of the 2/3 matchup. A Crusaders win would created a three way tie in Division I heading into the final week of regular season play. No tiebreaker has yet been announced by the ILH, however Coaches of the teams involved are assuming that it will be a coin toss or drawing of straws to decide a number one seed.

Mililani, winners of 5 straight games moved up one spot for the third straight week, and is now ranked second, which is the highest an OIA team has been voted in the Cover 2: Power Poll.

Lahainaluna for the second straight week, edged out Kaiser by one first place vote in the Divison II Top 5.
