Family and friends of a missing Maui woman will hold a candlelight vigil for her on Wednesday.

It’s been more than a week since Moreira “Mo” Monsalve disappeared.

Maui police say she was last seen leaving her ex-boyfriend’s home on Jan. 12.

Family members say her purse was found in a dumpster last Thursday.

The vigil will be held at 6:30 p.m. on the front lawn of Kaahumanu Church located on High Street in Wailuku. Attendees are encouraged to wear hot pink to represent Monsalve’s favorite color. Candles will also be provided

Anyone with information about Monsalve’s disappearance is asked to call police.
