Hawaiian Electric Company crews have restored power to customers affected by outages in the Laie, Kaneohe, and Enchanted Lake areas.
The outage in Laie was reported shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday.
HECO officials say the outage initially affected about 300 customers. Preliminary assessments indicate the outage was caused by lightning. All power was restored shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Another outage was reported shortly after 11 p.m. in Kaneohe and Enchanted Lake.
Officials say a downed tree and power lines on Makalani Street caused the outages. Initially, about 150 customers were without power. Crews restored power to all Kaneohe customers just before 6:30 a.m.
In Enchanted Lake, an outage affected about 1,100 customers. The outage was reported shortly before 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. Power has since been restored.
HECO officials say high winds are to blame.
