Some residents who live in the state-owned Palolo Valley homes are spending the next few nights in a hotel.
They’ve been dealing with flooding in their homes.
On Wednesday, plumbers found a broken pipe, but it’s still a mystery as to whether it’s a clean water pipe or sewer pipe.
Officials say there was a stench, so affected residents have been relocated to hotels.
The state says it’s planning a permanent fix to the broken pipe.
