The annual Pro Bowl block party takes place Saturday night in Waikiki.
Thousands are expected to attend the free event from 7 to 10 p.m.
Six musical stages will be set up.
NFL players, cheerleaders and team mascots are scheduled to make an appearance.
Kalakaua avenue will be closed from Lewers street to Kealohilani avenue.
Traffic will be diverted at Lewers starting at 4 p.m.
Also fans headed to the Pro Bowl on Sunday can plan on leaving their bags at home.
The NFL has a new bag policy in place.
People will have to keep their belongings in a clear plastic or vinyl bag that’s no bigger than 12 inches by 12 inches.
Or a clear plastic freezer bag that is no larger than one-gallon.
In addition to the clear bag, fans can also bring in a small clutch or purse.
