Thousands in search of a job headed down to the Neal Blaisdell Center on Wednesday.
One hundred and sixty-one employers looking for new workers presented themselves at the Job Quest Job Fair.
Fields range from the rail to flight attendants, to health care and the banking industry.
With Hawaii’s unemployment rate being at 3.8 percent, job fair officials say this is the perfect place for job seekers.
“Now we’re really more of a career expo and we try to have a lot of workshops about forecasting and what a company is going to do this year,” Job Quest Executive Director Beth Busch said.
Another job fair will be held in September.
