A man who police say fired at officers after leading them on a car chase through Kahala has been indicted on attempted-murder charges.
Nicolas Nakano, 32, was arrested last Thursday night.
An Oahu grand jury has indicted him on 11 counts — four of those are for attempted murder in the first degree.
Nakano also faces firearm charges and had meth on him when he was arrested.
The chase ended after the stolen car Nakano was driving hit another car, flipping onto its roof.
Sources say Nakano’s pistol jammed after he fired one shot and missed. Officers did not return fire.
