There may be helicopters flying over Hanauma Bay on Tuesday.
That’s because the city will conduct rockfall mitigation work from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
A helicopter will take about 200 bags of rock debris from the top of the ridge to the nature preserve’s parking lot where dump trucks will haul it away.
It’s expected to be a one-day job.
Hanauma Bay is usually closed to the public on Tuesdays.
