Today was day number two back at Kalaepohaku for Saint Louis legend Cal Lee. There isn’t much time to bask in the nostalgia though, as the 14-time prep bowl and one time state champ will have his hands full.
Not to mention the rigors of a division I ILH slate, Saint Louis will begin it’s 2014 season on August 22nd at Aloha Stadium against Saint John Bosco, the 2013 California high school football state champion. Bosco is led by quarterback Josh Rosen, the 2nd ranked quarterback in the country for the class of 2015 according to rivals.com.
Sound squads will be no new task for the 67-year-old, as Lee returns from stints as head coach of the Arena Football League’s Hawaiian Islanders, as well as linebackers coach at the University of Hawai’i.
According to Lee, those experiences have made him an even better coach for his second run across from third avenue.
