Hawaii gas price averages were mixed throughout the islands this past week, according to the AAA Hawaii Weekend Gas Watch.
The $4.03 state average is two cents more than last Thursday, eight cents more than last month, and 15 cents less than on this day last year.
Honolulu’s average price is $3.93 a gallon for regular unleaded – two cents more than last week, eight cents more than last month, and 18 cents less than a year ago.
In Hilo, the average gas price is $3.94 per gallon, three cents less than last week, one cent more than last month, and 24 cents less than this time a year ago.
Wailuku’s average is $4.24 a gallon, unchanged since last week, three cents more than last month, and three cents more on this day last year.
“Average fuel prices varied by just one to two pennies per gallon from last week: Alaska is at $3.63 a gallon for unleaded, California is at $3.59, Montana is at $3.02 and Oklahoma sits at $3.10,” AAA Hawaii General Manager Liane Sumida said.
