Some Aloha Tower Marketplace tenants are about to get the boot.
On Friday, Hawaii Pacific University gave notices to their month-to-month tenants that they must vacate by March 17. That’s a total of 17 stores.
Aloha Tower Marketplace’s long-term tenants, including Hooters, Gordon Biersch, The Cab, and Star of Honolulu are not affected.
It’s all part of HPU’s plan to redevelop Aloha Tower Marketplace by adding student housing and a sports and entertainment facility.
Construction is expected to begin in a few weeks.
