Power restored to 2 UH Manoa science buildings


University of Hawaii Manoa officials say power has been restored to two science buildings overnight.

Bilger Hall and Bilger Addition were among the eight buildings that lost power Thursday afternoon.

The other six got their power back on Thursday night.

On Friday, classes held in those two buildings were either canceled or rescheduled.

Phone service was also knocked out for part of the campus.

As of 10 p.m. Sunday, power was restored to all affected buildings and classes will go on as scheduled Monday.
