Crews restore water service in the Waipahu industrial business area

Honolulu police have reopened Leokane Street after a water main break in the Waipahu area.

The 12-inch water main break was reported at about 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The roadway was closed between Leoleo and Leoole Streets while crews repaired the break.

Board of Water Supply crews restored water service by 9 p.m. to the seven industrial business customers

All roads reopened at about 5 a.m. Thursday.
