Hawaii students compete in VEX IQ State Championship

Robotics Competition

Pearlridge Center was buzzing with activity as dozens of teams of students competed in the first Hawaii VEX IQ State Championship.

22 qualifying teams of elementary and middle school students from across the state designed and built robots to conquer challenges.

Up to seven teams will qualify to compete in the World VEX IQ Championships to be held in Anaheim, California this April and the VEX Summer Games in Hawaii in July.
