We have our first look at a man accused of hitting a man with his car and dragging him several blocks.
Miguel Torres remains behind bars after police say he hit a 35-year-old man with his car in a parking lot in Waianae.
“At some point, a couple walking back to the apartment (complex) was struck by a vehicle and the male pedestrian ended up underneath the vehicle,” Lt. Bobby Towne of the Honolulu Police Department said Monday. “The driver of the vehicle continued on for approximately a mile, dragging the victim.”
An 18-year-old woman with the victim was not seriously injured.
Police arrested Torres for attempted murder Wednesday morning. He has not yet been charged.
