Power restored in Panaewa

The Hawaii Electric Light Company has restored power to nearly 1,000 customers in Panaewa on the Big Island.

The outage started around 8 p.m.

The cause of the outage is a failed cross arm, which is  located at the top of the utility

All residential customers were restored by 10 p.m.

About 10 industrial customers are still without power.
