Boeing unveils ‘self-destructing’ smartphone

It’s a smartphone that’d make James Bond jealous.

Aerospace manufacturer Boeing unveiled a new “self-destructing” smart phone this week.

The phone is called the Boeing “Black.”

Boeing says it’s meant for people who work for or with government agencies in defense and homeland security.

The “self-destruct” feature isn’t quite as dramatic as it sounds — it simply erases all its data if someone tries to break into the phone.

It’s loaded with other security features.

It runs on Google’s Android and encrypts calls and stored data.

Boeing is releasing limited information about its first smartphone.

It’s expected to be out this summer but no word on how much it’ll cost.
