El Segundo, CA (February 28, 2014) – Oceanic Time Warner Cable and the University of Hawai’i today announced that they have extended their partnership and that OC Sports continues as the exclusive local home of University of Hawai’i Athletics. OC Sports will again televise live University of Hawai’i games and content, including the live “Game On” pre-game show and live post-game reports, as part of the long-term agreement.

“We’re very pleased with the valuable exposure and much-needed revenue that this partnership with Oceanic Time Warner Cable provides the UH Athletics Department,” Ben Jay, UH athletics director, said. “OC Sports telecasts deliver the excitement of UH men’s and women’s sporting events to our loyal fans on all of the islands and allow us to share the athletic and academic successes of our student-athletes, along with the many exciting accomplishments of UH Manoa students, faculty, and staff.”

“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with the University of Hawai’i Athletics,” said Dan Schmidt, General Manager and Executive Producer, OC Sports. “UH games are part of the fabric of the community here in Hawai’i and we’re so proud that OC Sports and Oceanic Time Warner Cable can continue to offer live games and supporting programming to UH fans.”

As part of the partnership, Oceanic Time Warner Cable will also continue to offer live University of Hawai’i games as part of its exclusive pay-per-view package.
