Robotics team places in regional competition

The Kalani High School robotics team has earned a spot in the FIRST Championship in St. Louis, April 23-26, after a strong performance at the FIRST Alamo regional competition in San Antonio, Texas. The top three winners at each regional competition qualify for the championship.

Under the direction of team’s faculty adviser and coach Bryan Silver, the Kalani Falcons Team 3008 is also participating in the FIRST Hawaii regional competition to be held at the University of Hawaii at Manoa on March 27-29. Thirty-nine high school robotics teams from across Hawaii, as well as teams from New Jersey, Australia, Singapore and Taipei will compete.
