The suspect in a Kailua murder investigation has been found in California.
According to Honolulu CrimeStoppers, Santa Barbara police received tips on Saturday, March 1, that Robert Roediger-Geauque was in its jurisdiction and contacted Honolulu police. An arrest warrant was obtained and officers arrested Roediger-Geauque for second-degree murder Thursday.
The 31-year-old is accused of stabbing a man multiple times on January 13. The victim was discovered at 333 Uluniu St. and taken to the hospital where he died.
Extradition back to Honolulu is pending.
