The state Department of Transportation has completed repairs on Ihiihilauakea Bridge.
The 80-year-old bridge is just past the Lanai Lookout on Kalanianaole Highway.
There will be a full road closure on March 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for the removal of construction equipment.
Motorists are advised to use Kealahou Street and Lunalilo Home Road as alternate routes.
Work began on the bridge on Oct. 7, 2013 and included spall barrier and road repairs, followed with a carbon fiber wrap installation for reinforcement and painting.
The cost of the project is estimated at $2.4 million.
In 2009, the Bridge Inspection Report rated the bridge a 4 (severe condition).
