Hawaiian Airlines has accelerated the start date for its new daily year-round service between Los Angeles International Airport and Maui’s Kahului Airport. Flights will now begin on May 2 instead of June 1.
In addition, the airline will also add a second daily flight for eight weeks this summer, doubling up on flights from June 30 to September 8 and adding more than 32,700 seats in both travel markets.
“In response to robust demand, Hawaiian Airlines is pleased to advance the start date and increase summer frequency for our new daily Los Angeles-Maui service, giving travelers more options and flexibility to visit the beautiful island of Maui,” said Peter Ingram, Hawaiian Airlines executive vice president and chief commercial officer.
Hawaiian Airlines previously announced that new non-stop summer service between Los Angeles and both Lihue, Kauai and Kona, Hawaii Island will commence this June, connecting all four main Hawaiian Islands to Southern California.
