Maui County says it has been experiencing intermittent technical issues with phones located in its offices at One Main Plaza.
Vendor technicians are working to resolve the problem, which appears to be caused by several circuit cards in the network switch that are defective. The phone outages are expected to be resolved by the replacement of the circuit cards, which is being expedited to complete the repairs as quickly as possible.
County offices at One Main Plaza include the Dept. of Environmental Management, Dept. of Housing & Human Concerns, the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development and the Dept. of Planning.
If calls still cannot get through to the affected offices, the public is advised to please call the Mayor’s office at 270-7855 and leave a message for the department.
