CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man who robbed a couple at gunpoint in Aiea.

On March 11, at approximately 11:20 a.m., police say the man entered a home on Kalaloa St., held a couple at gunpoint and demanded money. Police say the couple was able to escape while the man searched their resident and fled with several items. The couple’s four-year-old grandson was also home at the time.

HPD brought in dozens of officers including the Special Services Division or SWAT team. A police helicopter also flew over for at least an hour and a half searching for the suspect.

Police have released a sketch of the suspect, who is described as a man in his 40s, between 5-foot-10 and six feet tall, 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

CrimeStoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect.
