The Hawaii Kai carnival will resume as planned this weekend. Last weekend, high winds caused the carnival to be cut short.
Carnival operator E.K. Fernandez says all the rides and games have been inspected and are safe.
The carnival will take place on the “Great Lawn” at the intersection of Kalanianaole Hwy. and Hawaii Kai Dr. Friday, 6-11 p.m., Saturday, noon-11 p.m., and Sunday, noon-10 p.m.
Admission is $2, with proceeds going to Kaiser High School’s football program and other non-profits. Children under 40-inches tall are free.
