A Hawaiian Airlines flight from Las Vegas to Honolulu was diverted to Los Angeles Monday morning.
The airline says an indicator light regarding the air conditioning system came on and the pilot decided to land in Los Angeles to get it inspected.
Flight No. 7 landed at 10:30 a.m. Pacific time in Los Angeles. Upon inspection, crews determined that a part needed replacement, which needed to be brought in from Minneapolis.
The airline says a few passengers were accommodated on other airlines and the rest were given hotel rooms and meal vouchers.
The new departure time is 8:40 a.m. Tuesday Pacific time.
