It’s been a rough trip for some Hawaiian Airlines passengers.
They’re finally back home on Oahu after being delayed more than 30 hours.
It started when their flight from Vegas got diverted Monday morning after a problem with the air conditioning system.
There were more issues with the plane and passengers were not able to get on a flight home until 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Many of the passengers were youngsters who played in a soccer tournament in Vegas.
“I still don’t think it’s enough. I mean, it was rough, rough for the girls. You know, I mean if the parents were alone that would be fine, but we had girls. We were chaperoning, we had girls. It was hard for them. And you know, everybody else, it was not just hard for us, it was hard for everybody,” said Lynette Murakami.
The passengers were given hotel and meal vouchers for their troubles.
