Hawaiian Airlines Flight 7 that was diverted from Honolulu to Los Angeles Thursday has been delayed again.
According to the airline, a new plane was brought in Friday, but it had computer issues and did not take off as scheduled.
Officials say a new flight inbound to LAX is set to take off at 6 p.m. Pacific time and will first accommodate the roughly 180 stranded passengers. They are expected to arrive at 8 or 9 p.m. in Honolulu, approximately 35 hours past due.
Passengers who get bumped off this regularly scheduled flight will be transferred to a special flight that departs at around midnight.
The airline says passengers who were not accommodated on other airlines Thursday were put up in a hotel overnight, fed and given $400 vouchers.
