Police search for suspect in Ewa Beach murder

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating any witnesses or the suspects responsible for a homicide in Ewa Beach early Sunday.

On March 23, at approximately 12:34 a.m., police say three males approached the victim in the middle of the road fronting 91-965 Komana St. One or more of the males physically assaulted the victim who fled in a black- or dark-colored sedan on Komana St. toward Pailani St.

The victim, a 38-year-old male, suffered head and bodily injuries and died at the hospital.

Police say the suspects are local males in their late teens to early twenties.

CrimeStoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect.
