Hawaii’s largest coconut palm has advanced to the final four.

On Thursday, a towering coconut palm tree at the Hawea Heiau Complex in Hawaii Kai, known as “Coco,” will go up against “Super” Sand Post Oak of Texas in American Forests’ Big Tree Madness competition.

Meanwhile, “Big Sassy Bassy” white basswood of Missouri and “Wow!” the willow of Virginia will face off in the East vs. Midwest semi-finals.

The winner will be crowned this year’s Ultimate Big Tree on April 9.
