Honolulu police have captured one of two teenagers who escaped from the youth correctional facility in Windward Oahu.
Investigators say he was arrested in Kalihi around 8:30 p.m. Friday.
Another teen escapee is still on the run.
They are both 17-years-old and were sentenced to the facility for robbery.
Honolulu police were notified that they went missing about 9:45 a.m. Thursday morning.
After an overnight search the decision was made to close several nearby schools on Friday.
