Man arrested after threatening police officer with airsoft gun

A 35-year-old man is in custody after police say he threatened an officer with an airsoft gun in Kailua.

The incident happened just before 11 p.m. Monday on 600 Kailua Rd.

Investigators say they received a report from a security guard spotting a suspicious man at a shopping center.

Officers say Robert Knox pointed a gun at the responding officer. No one was hurt.

Police arrested Knox for terroristic threatening and possessing a deadly weapon.
