According to the Urban Dictionary, the term “Cowboy Up” is described as exemplifying toughness and determination. Those are two traits that easily paint the picture for University of Hawaii Freshman Defensive Back, Keelan Ewaliko.

From his redshirt season of 2013 to now, the one time 100-meter and 200-meter state track champion has gained 40 lbs as he transitioned from a high school quarterback to utility DB that has run with the “one’s” at Nickelback, during Spring Training Camp. Think that’s impressive? How about the Baldwin graduate can also put on his resume that he’s a champion bullrider.

Our Sam Spangler went one on one with the Rainbow Warrior’s new age renaissance man following practice on lower campus.
