New Study: Napping could increase the risk of earlier death

A new research shows taking an occasional afternoon nap could be sleeping your way to an early grave.

According to a new study out of Cambridge University, researchers found people who napped more than an hour or more each day, were 32 percent more likely to die early during the 13-year study.

People were at greater risk of death by heart disease, cancer, respiratory illness and other health problems.

Experts don’t think it’s the naps making people sick. They believe undiagnosed health problems may be making people tired so they sleep more.
