The Hawaiian Humane Society says a dog that was rescued in Nanakuli with a stab wound to its head is ready for adoption.

Rosie will be taken to the society’s adoption center Thursday.

Officials say Rosie was recovering under the care of a foster family and is now in good condition.

If you or anyone you know would like to adopt Rosie, you can visit the Hawaiian Humane Society’s Adoption Center at 2700 Waialae Ave.

The fee to adopt is $75, along with a $10 dog license fee.

The stabbing is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Hawaiian Humane Society at 356-2250.
