Honolulu firefighters put out a two-story house fire in the Waipahu area.
The fire broke out at about 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Royal Kunia Gardens townhouse near Hanauna Street.
According to Honolulu fire officials, no one was home when the fire started on the first floor bedroom. The fire was under control within minutes and neighbors evacuated safely.
No injuries are reported.
HPD investigators say the fire was intentionally set.
Seven companies and 25 HFD personnel responded.
Damage is estimated at $40,000.
