Ruth’s Chris Steak House has signed a 25-year lease extension for one of the restaurants in Honolulu.
Hawaii’s first Ruth’s Chris Steak House opened 25 years ago and the restaurant is the longest establishment at the Waterfront Plaza in downtown.
The resaurant at the Waterfront Plaza was purchased in 1994 from nationally known restaurateur Paul Fleming.
The company’s CEO says the extension confirms their commitment to the Hawaii marketplace.
“We are extremely excited to extend our lease and to be celebrating our 25th anniversary here at Waterfront Plaza,” CEO of Desert Island Restaurants Randy Schoch said. “Our lease extension confirms our commitment to the Hawaii marketplace. We are honored to be the longest restaurant establishment at Waterfront Plaza and would like to thank our loyal diners for their support and patronage over the past 25 years.”
Its Waikiki sister-restaurant is the highest-grossing Ruth’s Chris franchise in the world.
