FAA investigates emergency landing on Molokai

The Federal Aviation Administration has opened an investigation after a small plane made an emergency landing on Molokai Tuesday.

Officials say the nose gear of a Piper PA28, with the tail number N4338V, collapsed when the plane landed at Molokai Airport at around 2:30 p.m.

The only person on board was not injured and the plane sustained minor damage.
