HHSAA State Softball Tournament

The second day of the HHSAA Division I Softball championships ended tonight at the Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium. Four teams moved on from today’s matches to continue their chase for a state title.

After the 1:00 p.m. game, the Leilehua Mules (10-9-0)  sealed a semifinal spot after defeating #4 seed Hilo (8-1-0) with a final score of 12-3.

The Mid-Pacific Owls (14-4-0) held off the #3 seed Baldwin Bears (9-1-0) to advance to the state semifinals to play against Mililani. With the loss, the Bears play Maryknoll tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.

Campbell Sabers (14-4-0) pull off a huge upset in 5-0 victory over #1 seed Kamehameha Schools Kapalama (12-4-0) earlier today. The girls from Ewa advance to play Leilehua  tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. while the Warriors play at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.

The final game of the night ended with the Mililani Trojans (13-3-0) defeating the Maryknoll Lady Spartans (14-5-0). The Trojans takes on Mid Pacific at the 7:00 p.m. game.
