Castle Resorts & Hotels unveiled a new brand identity for its Hilo Hawaiian Hotel.
Signifying the growth and transformation following the property’s recent $6.5 million renovation, the new logo and brand identity celebrate the unique culture of and modern facelift of the hotel.
“The launch of this new logo kicks-off a new era of the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel that our customers have come to love,” President and Chief Operating Officer for Castle Resorts & Hotels Alan Mattson said. “Our goal was to create a new logo that tied together the rich history of our location, the new look of our renovated product, and the commitment of our hotel to the community that has supported us over the past 40 years.”
The new logo, an evocative design based on traditional hula implements, is a bold and vibrant new take on Hilo Hawaiian Hotel’s prior logo, which served as the hotel’s identity for the past 40 years since it opened in 1973.
“While we have updated and improved the look and feel of our hotel, we are not forgetting our past and the culture that surrounds us,” General Manager for the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel Daryle Kitamori said.. “Our new logo is a celebration of all of these elements. We look to hula to remind us of the people and land we come from.”
The Hilo Hawaiian Hotel is an oceanfront full-service hotel located in the heart of Hilo, Hawaii.
