University of Hawaii starting point guard Keith Shamburger is transferring to the University of Missouri next season to play his final year as a senior.

Shamburger announced the news via his Twitter account Saturday afternoon. As a junior last season, Shamburger averaged 9 points and 5 assists in 30 starts.

Coincidentally enough, former Missouri basketball players Negus Webster Chan and Stefan Jankovic have transferred to Hawaii, and are expected to eligible to play in the fall.

Shamburger is originally from Los Angeles and played two seasons with San Jose State before transferring to Hawaii.
