The Hanauma Bay Educational Lecture Series resumes Sunday at 3 p.m.
The featured speaker will be Amarisa Marie, a biologist with the Oahu offshore island State Wildlife Sanctuaries, where she manages invasive species and monitors seabird populations.
The lecture will be held in the classroom at the Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve.
The lecture series is free and open to the public, and covers a full range of marine science and conservation topics. The series was recently moved from Thursday nights to Sunday afternoons due to safety concerns regarding low lighting at the preserve after sunset.
