Ewa residents had a chance to voice their concerns on Tuesday.
Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell held a town hall gathering at Ewa Elementary School.
Caldwell and his cabinet spoke about the city’s priorities.
They updated the community about topics like the bus and the rail project.
“It is about an integrated bus and rail system that will allow people to move about in a better way smaller footprint, faster. And the development around rail stations is going to really create neighborhoods like my hometown growing up in Waipahu when I was a kid,” Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell said.
Caldwell has had similar meetings in Mililani, Waikiki and Waimanalo.
The final one will be held in Nanakuli on May 28.
The mayor’s office says the public is encouraged to attend, participate, and make suggestions on how his administration can do a better job.
The meetings are broadcast live on Olelo channel 49.
