WASHINGTON – With the Indiana Pacers 93-80 win against the Washington Wizards today, the NBA Eastern Conference finals are set to go. Indiana, the one-seed in the east, match up against Miami for a chance to play for the NBA championship.
Indiana’s David West had 29-points tonight with four assists while Paul George added 12 to the score board and two assists. Both George Hill and Roy Hibbert has 11-points each and Lance Stephenson dropped 17.
The Pacers were shooting 51.4 percent on field goals, 2 for 10 on three’s, and 17 of 25 on free-throws made. Indiana accounted for ten rebounds.
For the Wizards, Marcin Gortat had 19 points and John Wall scored 12-points with nine assists. The team was 31 of 79 on field goals, two for 18 on three-points made, and 16 of 20 on free-throws with seven rebounds on the night.
The best of seven series begins Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in Bankers Life Fieldhouse (9:30 a.m. Hawaii time). Heat and Pacers met last year in the same series with Miami coming out on top after seven games.
